The Bahamas is all about fun in the sun without a care in the world.
As much as the Bahamas is all about relaxation and having fun, it is important for you to be prepared for what can happen on your trip.
Before you pack your bags and hit the airport with excitement - there are some ground rules that we must cover before you actually get there. These ground rules will help you make the most of your Bahamas trip.
Ground Rule #1: Bring Cash with You
When you are traveling to a foreign country sometimes, it is better just to have cash on hand. You never know if a place will accept your debit or credit card. To play it safe have cash for when you are out the resort and aren’t in a touristy area.
Ground Rule #2: Bring Clothing for All Weather Types
Like most typical island weather, all types of weather can happen. So be sure to pack a rain jacket if you plan to be out and about since unpredicted rain is always on the horizon.
Ground Rule #3: Protect Your Skin
Yes, we understand that you want to work on your tan, but it is equally important for you to protect your skin from the sun and the pesky bugs. So bring a sunhat (a floppy hat works too), sunscreen and bug repellent.
Ground Rule #4: Pack at Least Two Bathing Suits
We know that you may be hitting the resort pool or the beach throughout your stay. So it is important for you to have at least one bathing suit for each place. That way you aren’t going to the pool with sand in them!
Those are some of the major ground rules that you should know before you to go to the Bahamas.
We hope that you have a lot of fun on your trip and stay safe out there!
